Hi, Eileen! Hopefully you will remember me as the American from the Detroit, Michigan area who was friends with Johnnie Bassett, R.J. Spangler, Chris Codish, etc. Sorry for not keeping touch with you, but I confess I couldn’t make out the return address on the postcard you sent me years ago! Needless to say, a lot has happened since our Chatham – Detroit commutes. I’m sorry to report Johnnie Bassett died last August. Coincidentally, I was at his last performance in (My 55th Birthday) the early hours of July 6, 2012. My wife (also named Eileen) spoke to me at work the evening of July 5 and after seeing Johnnie perform earlier at another gig, suggested I see the second performance. How are you? I saw you singing a “Facebook song” on YouTube.
