Hey, O'Toole!

Your poetry reminds me a bit of my own (hope you take that as a compliment)—self-deprecating, self-revelatory...you know what I mean?

I like the blog and the way you speak to your audience in that familiar manner. Love the "arse" photo. I must try that one.

I'm adding your blogs to my blog-lists and dashboard.

You're a musician as well? Takin' after the old man, I suppose.

You don't know how pleased I am to be getting acquainted with you once more.

Hello again.
Sean Mulroy here the Longford Uke abuser who had a slightly Guinness muddled chat with you at the Uku doo last Friday.... heres a funny auld thing provisionally titled- "its a small ukulele world"
My wife and I both thought that you were slightly familiar but couldnt put our fingers on it. On the drive home a light bulb went off in my head. Around December 2007 my then 2 year old had an unhealthy (for the instruments) interest in daddy's lovely guitar and mandolin. Daddy was not wild about this. One day we took said two year old to Arigna mines to see Santy. There we encountered a ukulele bashing and a hollering American (so we thought... sorry). Daddy went "A HAAAaa. Santy can bring the boy a shitty little ukulele and my instrumants will be safe!" Daddy now owns 3 "shitty" little ukuleles, guitar and mandolin are gathering dust and he drives to Dunlaoire once a month to meet other players of the shitty little instrument... and its all your fault!!

But I digress. I shall endeavour to dig up, if any' some ukeabusersin the area and see if i can scare up the occasional ukulele get together and save myself a drive to Dublin once a month.
